yeah rob – i was wondering what those things were!
there’s one on the bldg next to balthazar and it cuts off at least half the sidewalk. couple that with all the street vendors on the curbside and there’s like a 1 foot wide path to walk, which is usually blocked by a EUROTRASH tourist wearing a shiny black puffy jacket.
No, but it is 10+ years old.
We’re hoping to sell it either to someone for parts 🙁 or someone that can fix it. It still is a sweet ride even with all it’s problems.
anyone know any mechanics that might want to buy it?
UGH! not liking this new trend in soho… a number of buildings have built these monstrosities against the facade of the buildings that go as high as three stories!! they look sorta like scaffolding for repairs, except they arent for repairs they are for ginormous ads! totally tacky. the only great thing about soho are the buildings themselves! anyway i dont know why im ranting about this, it sorta flies in the face of my belief that people should do what they want with their buildings, but i dont what they are doing.. way too times-squaresey if that makes any sense.
“It has some issues that need repairing, but it’s a great price”
Like owner, like car.

[Not an April Fool’s joke]
We’ve haven’t driven it in about a month I think. It’s actually quite liberating. And on the weekends, we’re actually doing more. It’s weird.

“We’re selling it and doing without.”
And the world will be safe for pedestrians and bikers.
