  1. “Speaking of Harvard grads failing the bar, and at the risk of speaking ill of the dead, 5 points to the first who can name who the NY tabloid papers referred to as “The Hunk That Flunked”.”

Too easy, Slopey. And JFK, Jr. was in my Bar Review class — his third try as I recall. At BMCC — just a couple of blocks from his loft on North Moore Street.

He used to sit on the lawn shirtless eating his lunch. First day, I didn’t realize it was him. He sat a few feet from where I was already sitting. And I gradually noticed that a circle had formed with about a 10′ radius from where I was sitting. Well, I knew no one was forming a circle around me, and that’s when I realized John-John was there. I told him I was happy to take his sloppy seconds.

  2. When I was growing up in Western Mass a good family friend was the caretaker for Caroline Kennedy’s place in Chester Mass. I used to visit and swim in their pond. Never met her though. She and “Ed” were always somewhere else.

  3. DIBS, but the “hard labor” we have in mind for them laborers are different – ie you want them be laboring hard on you literally vs. I plan to work them like a dog for peanuts.
