The Kennedy’s contribution to American society is a matter of documentation- trying to deny their impact is foolishness. Note: I said IMPACT. A neutral term. None of this has anything to do with automatic rights of succession. For that you can go to England. Again- you’re projecting.

I’ll stick my toe into this argument.
I don’t have anything against the Kennedys, but it is hard to argue that the family as a whole has the same level of power as they did 50, 25, or even 10 years ago.
That does not mean that they are bad or stupid or poor or ineffective or anything else.
It does appear to support the argument that dynasties in the US have a very difficult time maintaining their level of power over multiple generations.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that this is how he “feels”, but it’s pretty divorced from reality.
