PEAR. THE FRUIT. I had two in a paper bag, and I was waiting for them to ripen to perfection. Sometimes they just rot. But THIS pear…was perfect. I can’t wait to give BH his pear when he gets home this evening—he’s really going to enjoy it.

Thankfully, no. But I am running out of places in the kitchen I can safely thaw beef or chicken to cook. They can open most cabinets.

I’ll stick my toe into this argument.
I don’t have anything against the Kennedys, but it is hard to argue that the family as a whole has the same level of power as they did 50, 25, or even 10 years ago.
That does not mean that they are bad or stupid or poor or ineffective or anything else.
It does appear to support the argument that dynasties in the US have a very difficult time maintaining their level of power over multiple generations.
I agree with that too. It also doesn’t in any way diminish my intense admiration for JFK and RFK. I didn’t always agree with Teddy but he was an enormously powerful and productive Senator. Nor does any of that diminish my admiration for YOU, Legion. (no April’s Fool). 🙂
