My view on Afghanistan is that we should have bombed the hell out of them after 9/11/01 and moved on.
The important thing was to send a message that if you harbor terrorists, you will be hurt.
If we truly believed that Iraq was working on WMDs, that should have the strategy there as well.
I agreed with Bush in the 2000 election cycle that the US should not be in the business of “nation building.”
