I can’t stand trying to spread hard butter on bread but didn’t think it was a good idea to leave it out. Compromise was buying spreadable butter that is left in the fridge but doesn’t get too hard.
Someone should invent a smartphone app to allow for quick melting of those rock hard butter packs they give at diners. It’s especially annoying when they bring them in a dish with ice and I rip my rye toast attempting to apply it. Oh, the troubles I have…
