I’ve milked cows several times – on a farm in Scotland & one in upstate. Cows have to be trained for it since most are accustomed to the machines. The farm in Scotland didn’t have electricity – it was in the early 50s. But the owner of the one upstate kept a couple of cows for people to milk.
