Most of my gay friends with brownstones have decorated their homes with period furniture, fixtures, wallpaper, etc.

Loose cushions are OK.

Have you seen the renault le car? or the dreaded pacer!
Basically I want a couch that no one ever really gets comfortable on. If you want to be comfortable, go to bed or something. If you’re sitting on my couch I expect both you and your conversation to be sharp.

Then Ethan Allen is the place. Mine wasn’t very expensive either, less than $2,000 if I remember.
