*rob* I thought plastic covers were de rigueur for old ladies who make their own pasta an sauce.

yep and my grandmother always called that ghetto. the plastic couch covers AND making your own sauce from scratch!!! nothing but the best in ragu jarred for our family back then!!! honestly, there was a time where buying in jars and cans was considered NOT ghetto and making shit from scratch WAS ghetto, as weird and backwards as that seems… it’s crazy tho now how you can walk into a store and see a jar of sauce for like 20 bux (seriously!) where 20 years ago it was all ragu and stuff… i guess the 20 dollar jars are sorta kinda homemade from scratch just jarred. i can’t wrap my head around economics, culture, taste, and human relations, so what do i know

  2. Hey, it wasn’t all about me today. There were substantial discussions about package delivery (of various kinds), computer repair. All kinds of stuff. I didn’t hijack the entire day 100%.

  3. Hiya BSM : )

    Thanks, Arkady — shocking news!

Bah, jessi. Don’t you people know that you’re supposed to be generating puns and other fun posts for me to read when I get home???!!! : P

  4. Oh, and Benson told us about a great service for peeps in Park Slope that don’t have a doorman. You have your packages delivered to this place and then can pick them up at your convenience.
