Mopar, very sorry to hear about your job. I was off the OT most of yesterday. Was it unexpected?
I used to read NYMag sometimes. They’d have one good article every 3-4 months. Their blog can be quite funny.
But I agree, it’s mostly shit and Frank Rich should fit right in.
Thanks you guys! Full description at end of last night’s OT, but basically I’m a journalist covering tech and fashion. Next move is to do social media, content, and strategy for a fashion brand, retailer, or ad agency.
Now to get my LinkedIn account working. Ten years ago they messed up something with my account and I’ve never gone back.
dave: i have a subscription for new york magazine here!!! (well my roommate does). it’s pretty bad tho and nothing but an editorial circle jerk.

What is their target audience? People who can’t understand the words and cartoons in the New Yorker
Arkady, speaking of The Times, I was saddened to read that Frank Rich, my favourite columnist, is leaving after 17 years. He’s going to NY Mag. Maybe he can write the sequel to the article on The What.
