  1. ha, im standing outside and see one of those giant tour busses come down broadway and noticed something funny. one that it was 9 in the morning on a tuesday and the bus was filled but that none of these people were looking UP at all the great buildings they were all looking down at all the big box and chain retail stores. maybe they were people watching but the only people on the street right now are people going to work. even weirder were people aiming their cameras down and taking pictures of the stores! they dont seem to have someone with a megaphone anymore either.

  2. One bathroom configuration common in modern suburban houses that I have not seen even in large master bathroom floor plans in NYC is the “water closet” – a small separate room for the toilet – in the master bath.

When we had our cookie cutter house built in suburban Birmingham in 1999, this was standard in any new house beyond the very low end.

  3. I think today’s market activity will be more akin to not only buttsecks but a massive bukkake as well.

Expect a call from your margin clerk. they are in control today, which is why gold, oil and everything else is down.

  4. I grew up in a house with one bathroom, although the toilet was in its own separate small room from the bath (indoors before anyone asks).
Like Scott, I much prefer having two bathrooms. Makes it so much easier when I have guests.
