  1. Thanks BHS.
um, I practically live in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Almost every Saturday Morn in the spring/summer we’re there at 10am for the free admission.
    NO! Staten Island.
I’ve been to the Flushing Meadow Park so often.
hhhhmmmm, I haven’t been to Van Corlant park while in a while and maybe walk thru Riverdale.

This blows. every site I go to for things to do in NYC has the same things. And I’ve been to almost everything.

So far, I’m thinking Bronx Botanic Gardens or the Bronx Zoo. I haven’t been there in years.
Or picking a nabe and meandering the streets. See where the wind takes us.

  2. quote:
Come on people, think. I love to sightsee and I’ve been all over NYC and to lots of places.
Something to do in the five boros in March.

how about one of those murder mystery / dinner evenings, i heard they are fun. they always looked like fun on the golden girls!

    *rob*

  3. …and of course

    The Central Park Zoo,

    but that one’s always crowded
unless you go during the week early.

Best one for very small children though.

Best Carousel is at the Queens Zoo,
they’re nuts, that thing spins like a
    ride at Great Adventure.

Bronx is a whole day affair,
bring the picnic bag, to avoid the mob scene
    at the food courts.

  4. ET,

    Hummmm, I see your predicament.
Only one cure for something to do in March including infant:

The Bronx Zoo (They have Gorillas and Tigers!)

    or

The Prospect Park Zoo (They have capybaras!)

    or

The Queens Zoo (They have Bald Eagles!)

    or

The Staten Island Zoo (They have Groundhogs and a nice little park, Clove Lake)

  5. More things to do:

Visit one of the several botanical gardens.

Go hiking along the Staten Island greenbelt.

Walk through the wooded area of Van Corlandt Park

Walk around the World’s Fair relics at Flushing Meadows Park and take in the huge model of NYC at the Queens art Museum.

Go to a zoo or aquarium.
