“We just walked across the street to Lot2 and had dinner there. Nothing that amazing and the menu in itself was very small with not many choices so we opted for burgers. Burgers were pretty good but not even close to the best burgers I had. Overall a decent place with good service but I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it.”
We’ve been over this. Do not go to Lot2 and order burgers. Get roast chickn, get fish, get some newfangle shephard’s pie variant, get anything odd with turnips or kale, but do not get the burgers. The place is all about intense flavors with sort-of rustic-style cooking and fresh ingredients (particulalry in summer/fall — go on a Saturday and order anything with an item from the Greenwood CSA and you will be eating veggies picked that morning).
ET — one more suggestion. Have you and Mr. ET walked the High Line yet (no, that’s not a euphemism for something, ‘tho it sounds like it)?
Maybe you have pillow bugs. They are smaller and harder to see than bedbugs. Yhey reside in your pillow as they prefer to feed off of the greasy pomade that people put in their hair. they tend to act like someone you might sleep with (if you were ever to sleep with someone), nibbling on your neck and ears.
for like the last month ive had this itchy burning sensation on the back of my neck that wont go away. grrr what the hell could it be? it doesnt feel like there is anything there. i dont think it looks weird tho i cant see the back of my neck.
HAAAA – you guys are hilarious! – I am blond – so definetley not super sharp
but we have a car and hubby is a race car driver and would be here in minutes

Ditto what Slopie just said about Lot2. Don’t judge it by its burgers. The roast chicken is fabulous.

Stay home on St. Patrick’s Day, ET. I was just joking about the parade. Normal people (including the Irish) do not venture out on that day.
