  1. DH – yeah, um the all in one jobbies aren’t very good
stick with different products! and bar soap that is made with glycerian really is the best – but also those Dove “moisture” body washes are also very good!

  2. The only hotel shampoo I’ve ever taken was from the Sukhothai Hotel in Bangkok. They use that really high end Floris (of London) brand. there’s a shop on Madison Ave up in the sixties.

I only took it because the smell would then remind me of all the good times I had with go-go boys in bangkok.

  3. Rob – I am an air sign!!!! I’m a gemini with Virgo Ascendant and Cancer moon. oh nooo and my husband is a taurus with moon in Aries and Ascendant in Leo – so he’s already firey yet stable and grounded due to the Taurus aspect.

you are an aquarius, right? what’s your moon?

  4. I had a deep period of self reflection relating to my need to take hotel shampoos and conditioners home. Although I have not traveled that much the past year, I used to travel a lot and felt the need to take shampoos and conditioners home.

I was completely indiscriminate at first, taking the things out of Marriotts and Embassy Suites. What was WRONG with me? Very bad amenities. (Huge vats of generic shampoo made in Sri Lanka poured into little cheap bottles). But then I traded up and tried not to stay in crapola hotels and only took higher grade shampoos and conditioners. Soaps too.

The question is WHY? WHY, I ask you? Is it compensation for a childhood of spending 45 seconds doing my morning ablations before some screaming lunatic was ordering me out of there? A childhood of deprivation? Why did I have a basket, then a BARREL of hotel amenities in my house?

I decided to work it off and used my LAST shampoo last week. Now I can buy real shampoo and conditioner. Maybe
my hair will stop being broomish now.
