MM – I’ve spend many many years producing drawings and construction documents on Autocad (on a PC, not MAC). Some don’t think it’s an easy program to learn. So, if you don’t need to learn CAD, then I wouldn’t bother if I were you. There are far simplier programs out there for everyday space planning / design (although, I’ve never used them).

Finally got my new macbook this weekend. Must say I’m really impressed with it. I can rotate pictures with my fingers!!
MM- there are a ton of cad programs for pc. A lot of ree ones if you just need basic cad stuff- but if you want to go pro like BRG take her up on her offer!!!!! (Can I sit in on the lessons, BRG?) I’ve used 3d programs, but for graphics, not CAD.
