chilling between gigs is fine. it’s the no-need-to-rush chill that is possible with cops that not possible with firemen (ie exception is if they get call to bring cat down from tree). there is always some cop who is putting live on line each day but I would say most do not. ie not like everyone is working under-cover or something. Not saying being a cop is as safe as working in office job but rather I find it hard to believe they on avg put life at risk as much as firemen
isn’t Brownstoner itself a HUGE sign of the so called moonface? and if so why, Rob, are you even here supporting this, giving Mr B money every time you click away??
I resent firemen because all the women think they are cute.
haha….I think it was 1995 summer…there was a 17 alarm fire at the St. George Hotel right near me in Brooklyn Heights. I slept through the night (though neighbors did not), but at 6 am, I threw on a T-shirt and shorts to see what all the racket was outside.
First, there was Rudy Giulini was standing on my stoop and sticks out his hand to shake my hand. Then all over the street there were about 500 of the best looking fireman! I didn’t know if I was still dreaming.
“Are you supposed to just talk amongst yourselves at a strip club though? Like, “Oh, I see naked hot women all day long, this atmosphere is totally normal to me.”

It’s also totally normal to just be there chatting with a friend, and every once in a while your chat just happens to be interrupted by a lap dance.
The fundamental problem with Republican thinking on budget issues is they still think money is real, which it isn’t.
