” I love banana bread, too. But a good one requires a lot of patience – gotta wait for them to get soft and mushy.”
I usually end up making it because there are bananas on the counter going soft/brown, and need to be used up. It was my mother’s habit as well, my sister does it too. Something very comforting to me about Banana bread. My mother also used to make Anadama bread—also VERY yummy hot out of the oven!
tho now that i think about it, nanny’s dont really get paid a hell of a lot, do they? so they’d probably qualify for subsidized housing even if they reported it.
dave: you have a point… personally i think taxes ARE annoying… but too many people who have jobs where they arent paying taxes are also taking in benefits (i.e. section 8, food stamps, etc.) that would never qualify for had they had jobs where there is documentation of them paying taxes! obviously it’s not everyone, but there are FAAAAR too many nannies who get paid off the books and because of that qualify for subsidized housing and such… but whatever, i dont really care, people can do what they want.

I froze them for just such an occasion.

Thanks, infinite! I’m shocked that they held up this long!
I’d gag if I had to eat banana bread.

banana bread is disgusting. So is zucchini bread.
It’s a doggy spa, so I’ll figure 20%.
I would definitely tip a prostitute who went over and above.
Thanks rob/ch.
Also, rob, if a mani or pedi looks like crap 3 days later, then it was a bad job and I wouldn’t go back to that salon.
Cobble, been meaning to tell you, your cookies were a big hit at my nonprofit the other day. I was in charge of dessert and I brought them.
