…come to think of it,
alot of her friends were pretty delinquent. I remember tagging along with them when they ditched school in June and hit the Northern State Parkway in souped up Chevelle’s and Camaro’s doing 110mph on our way to Jones Beach.
Another total lucky (i.e. didn’t get killed) night featuring my own (and my sister’s) wacky lapse of judgement. My sister and I befriended an Irish cab driver in Cork. He drove us around all night long taking us to little clubs, getting us in without a cover, etc. He was off the wall funny and we had a great time.
After a night of clubbing in the clubbing capitol of the world, he invited my sister and I to his house for tea. We went. We had tea. And laughed. Then the sun came up and he drove us home to our bed and breakfast. Another situation where somehow I didn’t get killed.
I just saw someone with a Post and there’s a cover story about Bloomberg making some drunk Irish joke. Anyone know what he said.
Legion, you jest? Cardozo is a very popular school, very overcrowded but great programs and college admissions.

There’s a Ben. Cardozo HS in DC too. Don’t know about now but it used to be terrific.

I’m being facetious, my older sister went there in the 70’s.
“I was referring to Benjamin Cardozo High School in Queens,
a school for juvenile delinquents”
Benjamin Cardozo in on of the better schools in NYC and one of the best public high schools in the US.
