I don’t even know what the bottom 75% is. I assume I’m part of it but maybe that’s not right so much any more.
From my experience, the bottom 75% is a lot more fun.

another stat from the article could read is that median net worth of black households dropped only $7k compared to $50k drop in white households. All these statistics are easy to misread.
What article does allude to is home ownership —-and that is where the ‘median’ white household will have some wealth (and since house values dropped the median dropped).
Less than 1/2 of black households own homes and almost 3/4 of whites do.
What is going on is that the bottom 75% or so of american households are falling further and further behind.
