randi, since you introduced the discussion here, i went back to the COTD and added something wrt your original comment. Something I did not actually do previously. All i said was that you could at least comment on the property instead of your ranting about the political correctness of the phrase.

I agreed with Randi’s statement in that thread and still do. It’s got nothing to do with being p.c. It’s the feel on this blog that if something isn’t 200+ years old and filled with fancy mouldings, etc. someone couldn’t possibly wanna make that their permanent home. What if someone loves that nabe, only wants/needs one br, and feels like that would be a great place to settle and live out their lives? RE term or no, the way it’s used around here is a bit on the snobbish side, IMO and discounts the true average buyer in favor of all the high-falutin’ ‘must have a minimum of 4 stories and 25′ wide’ crowd.
