we’re lucky compared to metro north riders, starting monday daily service will change to modified week-end service because so many trains are broken down.
It was truly disgusting outside this morning–much worse for pedestrians than for drivers. I drove my kid to school this morning and we were stuck behind an oil truck that was delivering, with a school bus behind it that couldn’t get by. C’est la vie. But for walkers, a zillion times worse–sidewalks are slippery-slidy because of the ice and walking on the street is a mucky mess. Last day to dig out a car, I’d say, before the remaining snow berms melt down and then freeze over when it gets cold tonight.
rf…when it’s like this, pedestrians walk in the streets where I live. Not as much traffic where we are as compared to PS and other places.

“Last night I got laden then I fell asleep.”
I’m hoping to get laden again this weekend.
(See, Pete, it’s not that hard to use in a sentence.)
“I thought any educated person” — oh, are you saying you’ve met one once?
I haven’t been laden awhile.
Pedro, now that you’re not “working”, there’s no excuse for not using conjunctions in your posts.
Pete, I think the owner has a place somewhere up there.
