  1. I lived with my parents briefly during my renovation. It was a riot. I loved it. They were really entertaining. I found their act, so deeply annoying at another stage in my life, very funny and really enjoyed their company. My father is quite the ranconteur so getting a daily does of his crazy bs was great.

I have a friend who is 33 and lives at home with her widowed mom. It’s a pretty nice home – a single family brownstone in the brownstone belt – and she doesn’t seem to have much incentive to move out even though she has a good job.

lol you just described ALL of long island and a lot of parts of jersey..

    *rob*

  3. Pretentious? Hmmm…. I will have to give a report on that. This is a total freebie. My friend introduced me to his friend, a colleague looking to get a job at a place where I used to work…I was trying to help her with that…it never panned out for her, but she got a job at the Blue Hill Group and so she is inviting me and our mutual friend there for dinner.

  5. “Am I weird because I LOVED living with my parents?”

I love it when I am with them now & think I would enjoy it if I did live w/ them. Not sure if I’d feel that if I had never lived elsewhere.
