I was being delicate about the reasons why some people don’t drink, but yes, being in a bar can be tough for a person in recovery. But I’m fairly certain that other people who are in recovery may be there. It’s also not a heavy drinking crowd – or wasn’t last time. More of a chatty crowd.

Some people don’t drink because they just don’t want to, they don’t like it, or they have health reasons. No reason to be sad about it!
