  1. Henry Public is a good idea. I could NEVER take anyone on a first date to Montero’s!! That would be the equivalent of taking a first date home to my parents – much too close (in a good way, but not in a first date way) to the owners, bartenders, regulars, etc.

Actually, I need to figure out some good Manhattan bars in the Union Square area.

DeLepp, (a) Wakeeta really was not my type; and (2) last time I heard from her, she left a message asking “for a favor”, and I don’t know her well enough, notwithstanding having become one with her breasts, to loan her money, which is what it sounded like.

  2. Dave,

I don’t think it’s a hoax (and where did I say it was?). I do think there is the possibility of great exaggeration. Are there bad apples in the Sanitation Department? Certainly! (and in the hedge fund industry too. And in the ranks of the un- and underemployed. And everywhere.) Was it a major problem during the snow cleanup? Maybe, maybe not, but certainly not proven by this article.

  3. Gem – I’m on Lincoln btwn 6th & 7th – people above 7th got mail yesterday!!! And I’m still waiting for redelivery of a parcel that came on the 20th but USPS guy didn’t bother ringing my bell. I’ve been on the phone w/ them enough to have 4 different case numbers – to no avail.

  4. Cool – I think Henry Public is a good place for a first drink.

Yeah – I know the seltzer guy. I lurve seltzer but havent tried his!

re: working from home – that’s what i’m trying to do. I’ve got citrix open – I guess that’s a first step.

  5. Cgar – am totally confused!!!!!

Ishtar – at this point I agree, if my boots don’t come today am throwing a fit to UPS. Also if some of us don’t get our mail today I think we need to call the USPS????????
