Dave, I went to one with bf around Hakone — that was a $$$$ one, but with girlfriends, I found a little one in the mountains (mt. mitake) and it was wonderful!! Not expensive but fun and the owners treated us so well. I want to go back to Japan.
1. Still didn’t get mail since Friday so don’t feel bad Arkady.
2. Streets still haven’t been plowed in Kensington at all (except Ocean PKWY). Newkirk Avenue, 18th Avenue, Foster Ave which are all big secondary streets were never plowed.
3. Cgar if you need bar/lounge suggestions in Union Square area speak to DH or myself. Flariton lounge is nice as Jessi suggested and so is Rose Bar.
4. I am off to Philly to drive my parential units there and hang out with cousins for a day. Be back tomorrow in time for NYE party at some house party in the city.
5. Have a good one folks and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL THE REGULARS AND IRREGULARS :o).
Dave, I have been to those too. You do the whole onsen thing, taking the hot mineral baths and get all clean and comfy with cotton hakata (kimono) and then they come into your tatami room and serve you dinner. Oh thank you for reminding me of that…. those cozy things were the best thing about Japan.

Has anyone received mail delivery from usps? I still haven’t in a week and I’m expecting many important things
