What’s this about small gestational size?
Was that an official diagnosis by the Obstetrician? (SGA: <10th percentile in gestational size)
Newborns can bounce back remarkably after birth,
Do you have a Pediatrician lined up? Usually there is a consultation called in right after delivery and in the case of SGA a nutritional consultation may be in order as well.
So my in-laws, who play a lot of bridge, went on a bridge cruise in the caribbean a few weeks ago. They tell us it was afwul because most of the other people were jews from new york, and all they did was yell at each other and complain constantly. They said it was unbelievable how couples would scream at each other one minute and then be totally fine he next. Basically, they were all George Costanza’s parents. They said every time they played with someone from a place like Tennesee or Mississippi they breathed a sigh of relief because they knew there would be no yelling or complaining. Ever since they told me this I’ve been cracking myself up picturing them playing bridge day after day with the Costanzas.
Oh, thank God, I just finished and sent off an albatross of a project. Next week will be so unpleasant as it is when Cruella’s evil sister gets back from vacay. She won’t care that I was sick, only that I haven’t finished every bit of work she assigned to me.
