My yearning for a husband was temporary, did not last more than 3 hours. When it come to power tools, snaking the drain, painting and building I am better at it than 90% of the men I know.

I think it’s more like low taxes, few people, and a booming gas industry.
You folks need to learn yourselves some geography: Hawaii is NOT a state. It’s a Pacific Island nation that the U.S. tried to conquer in the Spanish American war.
One of my nieces is married to a guy from ND & they’re just back from xmas visit there. Oddly, construction work is booming too.
not to mention energy exploration, dibs.

Denton, have you noticed how many women on this site were yearning for men recently. The reasons are many:
1) the usual reasons
2) its the holidays
3) women realize how they can’t do everything themselves, they realize their natural dependency more when there is a natural disaster and they just can’t be freaking Helen Reddy….they can’t do stuff go up on the roof, punching the hatch, hanging onto the ladder, crawl up on the slippery roof, fixing the gutters, shoveling hundreds of pounds of snow off steps, sidewalks, shoveling out their cars, taking care of family, making money, etc. etc. etc. etc.
