Dibs – good point – I just feel that canceling that game was silly
if I had tickets, I would have made my own choice not to go b.c I am not someone who would ever drive int he snow to a football game – but there are plenty of folks who would and they have a train line that goes into the stadium from philly central, right? – it’s all so silly
Rob – ok use hammocks or just use bacon and lots of salt – IDK, if you like collards the people who make good collards usually use hammocks or some sort of smoked turkey neck or wing!
Yes, the wussies call was a good one. I’m not sure who was right on that. The cars certainly would never have gotten out of the parking lots after the game.
Rob – oh lord – are you eating SYLVIA’s Collard greens?
As denton said – buy collards at the store – wash them really well and then you have to cut them on a the diagonal and very thin
meantime boil 3 cups of water salted with smoked turkey necks and some Lawrys and a touch of brown sugar, garlic and pepper and then put collards in for an hour or so….
Dibs – ok, thanks for the backstory – I think I just like his style i like that he called us wussies! – haaaaaaa
“im not one of those anti-vaccine people, but flu shots are a total money making scam. you can vaccinate yourself against the flu just by licking a pole on the train. seriously!”
quote:
I’ve wanted to lick a few poles on the train. I doubt it’d protect me from the flu!!!!
i actually did lick a train pole from the bottom to as far up as my tongue could get on a dare. i didnt get sick from it. i think it was on the V train.
Yes, the subway goes right to the stadium…really convenient for us from center City…same as where the ball park is too.
