I’d take her down to Coney Island- its goth in its own sunlight-filled, street performancy, ramshackley renaissancey rundown kinda of way. But seriously- even in winter its a very cool place and if she’s into goth, she’ll probably see her soul mate walking around down there. I love the place. My dad used to take me down there in the winter and we’d walk on the beach.
Some stuff is open- including the very ungoth Aquarium, but there’s nothing like have the killer whale (or was it porpoise?)jump up and kiss your hand. And the Stillwell Ave. station is incredible. Robert Wilson designed the art for the station. There is also the museum and I think the side show is still open. check it out on coneyisland.com.
It would be awesome if, for one day, all visitors to that vegan site would be hit by the image of that slice of bacon on the screen!! I can imagine the horrified gasps 🙂
Rob, I think christopher has a good point. If she’s not into museums or the touristy things, hang out with her in the East Village/Alphabet City, West Village, etc. She might like those areas.
It is a very hunky piece of bacon, though, isn’t it? I mean, a good piece of bacon can be very sexy 🙂

The hordes of vegans would hunt us down…but a few would likely ‘crack’ and go get a BLT!
