A charlotte russe is a dessert, like a trifle served in a tall glass bowl. the bowl is lined with lady fingers soaked in sherry or cognac and the bowl is filled with custard and fruit layers. the top has fresh fruit with a glaze. Something like that.
rob – your political ignorance was really shocking when you cried boredom at Obama’s inaugural. However, to comment negatively on a health system in a country to which I bet you have never been is really offensive. Are you lucky enough to have healthcare? Good for you, you’re pretty lucky. Just cross your fingers and hope you don’t get diagnosed with something which will bankrupt you, because your insurance company won’t pay all the bills. Do you know the infant mortality rate in this country? Do you know how low this country is in any list measuring health care standards? Come on, you really need to get real and look around.
My husband lived on Fog Lane! He’s from Ashton though. We actually had a good Burnage cat for some years here, bless her. I was in Whalley Range, then Chorlton, for years, as it ballooned into trendyville….
