rob – you might think using the word ‘mixologist’ is a bunch of douchebaggery, but with so many bad drinks being made (how effing hard is a decent Manhattan?!), i think a really good maker deserves a name to differentiate themselves from the mediogre ‘bartenders’.
It was a Japanese karaoke bar….I think that might be inappropriate. And I’m never inappropriate.

I most certainly do! In fact, I’ve almost gotten to the point of giving up on any kind of political or economic debate on Brownstoner. Yesterday’s thread on the housing index just about did it for me. In case you haven’t seen it, take a look. Nothing but caricature and derision. I compare it to what you would see on a cable TV foodfight.
