Just got back from a verrrrrry long day and checked back on the ol’ thread. I have to say I was feeling the love! Thank you to everyone for your thoughts. And yes, Waz, she’s in a truly lovely spot.
“Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember The What ever talking about the circumstances under which he grew up. I think there is alot of presumption here. Are we simply going to give the guy a pass because of his race?”

I also saw Chaka Kahn and Wild Cherry at the Westchester Premiere Theater, the Talking Heads at Forest Hills Tennis Center, and Public Enemy at a now-defunct downtown club called “The World.”
Nuh-uh, ENY. New Orleans, 70’s: Rare Earth, Pacific Gas and Electric, Chambers Brothers, Ike and Tina Turner and James Brown.
