  1. Donatella;

    I’m back in NY. Getting ready for my next trip on Sunday: Israel, followed by Oslo, Norway.

    You know what else I like about Texas? The women there have “Big Hair”, and they are proud to have big hair! They color up!

    Also, when folks have wealth there, they look like they have wealth. Beats the pale Park Slope chicks who have that “I’m 35 and comfortable, but will dress like I’m still grunging it in college” look.

  2. You laugh about car parts in the bedroom, but the urban brownstone equivalent of that is unfinished renovation projects. I can’t think of anything less relaxing than looking at the detritus of an undone project in the house, much less the bedroom. I made a point of getting the renovation DONE before I moved in but I have neighbors that live in a state of ongoing renovation with tools and stuff in the living space.

  3. Mr B needs to outsource this to capable hosting data center folks – tons of providers out there now. they’ll offer him virtualization which is great at optimizing resources and offers great bandwith flexibility and scaleability

    Verizon selling ipad is good indication of the rumored iphone showing up in Q1 ’11 (hopefully Jan vs Mar) might just be true

    Verizon is hiring 150 people in New York City. (I get this daily email, e411 about personnel changes in top US corporations, lists layoffs and new hires.)

  5. Back!!! Long arduous process at the doctor’s office given they have a new computer system. Then I took that stupid new M15 express bus up 1st Ave with the ticket issue. Why do they wait for people who can’t figure it out????
