  1. One of the only things I hate more than National Public Radio are Americans with affected British accents. Like Madonna, for example. Turns out Bill Bryson, who was on NPR this morning, has an affected British accent. I felt so betrayed. Not Bill Bryson! Noooooo! I felt like Ceasar as Brutus pulled out his dagger.

  2. Funny jackal.

Don’t know how you didn’t throw a cinder block at the speaker, bxgrl.

Thanks for the reality check. I knew it couldn’t be only me who finds it grating.

And, as if listening to the trucks live and in person isn’t bad enough, they’ve now got a truck playing the jingle on some TV commercial — don’t know what the product is because I always leave the room, but whatever it turns out to be, I’m boycotting.

  3. Happy birthday, etson! Next tiem we see you we have to give you a pasty Brit cake! Cobble-, we’ll discuss 😉

CGar- yes it is. Once this summer, the truck parked under my window and played that damn tune for over 2 hours.
