  1. “By CGar on October 4, 2010 5:23 PM

What goes on here? Again I find myself agreeing with the jackal.”

There are two kinds of people on the OT, CGar. Those who openly agree with me and those who pretend not to.

  2. “does “litigation” do you take that to mean general stuff like all pre-trial things (complaints, motions, discovery, etc.) or actual trials or both?”

Snapple, I concur with our partners, Jackal and Slopey. At first blush, I would take that to mean a small firm GP who does everything from complaint through trial. It’s also not the most artful way to say it which also makes me think Court Street / Solo / PI lawyer. A large firm lawyer is more likely to say, “I’m a litigator”, not “I do litigation”. But, as Slopey said, it could also be someone trying to cover all bases.

  3. “Why don’t you say what you think about the tea party in your own words. Hiding behind some liberal columnist’s skirt is not very sportsmanlike.”

Rather depends on who’s skirt you’re hiding under, does it not?

  4. “There is zero credit here for cut and paste jobs. Say it in your own words.”

What goes on here? Again I find myself agreeing with the jackal. Cats and dogs must be living together in sin.

  5. My supposedly wind-proof umbrella has two broken tines to it. I have the reset them when I go outside.

I just got asked to co-chair a committee that I’ve always considered a feeder for a certain job at my firm I’ve always thought would be fun to have.
