I have no problem with home schooling. Out of 7 hours a day spent at school there are probably 5 or 10 minutes where there is any real learning taking place. At least at the kind of schools I went to. I basically taught myself everything I know about pretty much everything other than the law.
And you’ll never be able to stop parents from teaching crazy fruitcake stuff to their kids. The instinct to force kids to normalize through public education is a bad one.
Al VAnn i s acomplete idiot and wouldn’t know how to tackle any financial issue. On top of that he’s be about the most corrupt and “able to be bought” type of Democrat.
People will trust palladino to change the financial mess. He’s beholden to NO ONE!!!
Give him a few weeks and his rhetoric will become very, very palatable if he sees he’s close to winning.
Cuomo comes from that mentality of only being able to “go after a wrongdoer” rather than a more proactive fixer of problems. Plus, he’s a democrat and will continue the outrageous entitlements.
You vot for him and you stay here in NYS and pay the consequences. Me. I’ll be retired in a much lower tax rate state. Good riddance, NYS…you get what you deserve.
Seriously, though, wine is too tame for that debate. It’s going to be a brawl. What does one drink at an MMA match? Paladino is f’in nuts, but Cuomo doesn’t have much cool to contain. It’s assymetrical warfare because one side doesn’t give a sh*t what he says. Cuomo is 1000x more qualified but even people who like him hate him, so it will be all about the negatives on both sides.
Palidino is a wacko. I’d rather have Al Vann (ugh, ewww, gack) as governor before him. That welfare comment of his puts him squarely in the “I need a mental health intervention” column. If he gets in, I guarantee he will as inept as they get.

True, Dat, but I consider Pataki a RINO. Names don’t mean much. Also, veto-proof liberal and leftist legislatures pretty much carry the day.
The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.

What? No Lobster Newburgh? No Brooklyn Lager?

DeLepp, how do you know those things? 😉
Are the UN conferences typically a boom for NYC prostitutes??
Indeed, but I can’t imagine any of the dignitaries travelling to 3rd Ave and Butler in Gowanus, though ten dollars would certainly go further.
DCB- please do not judge the rest of us childless folk by rob.
have to admit I love seafood Newberg – now that’s yummy!
but I agree with donatella – that’s the perfect way to make manhattan clam chowder!
