  1. “sometimes you write stuff that generates a whoa response, like yesterday what a person would do for a million dollars. I start wondering, are you trying to shock people to be funny or…what?”

Oh you mean the getting your skin torn off thing? Well Rob just kept saying there was nothing he wouldn’t do for a million dollars, nothing at all, stop asking him, you’re wasting your time, so I figured I would come up with the most unbelievably awful thing I could imagine just to prove that yes, in fact there are things he won’t do for a million dollars. So I came up with the horrible torture. And I think he admitted he wouldn’t do that for a million dollars. So it worked.

  2. There is a brand of milk – Skim Plus — it is skim milk but they reduce the water somehow and it has the thickness of whole milk, just no fat. It comes in special containers and lasts 2 months. It costs 3.89 at Fairway per half gallon and every two weeks or so, it is on sale 2 for 5 bucks. It is better than pouring milk flavored water in your coffee. I also buy it because I can just have it. During the summer, the bodegas probably don’t handle the milk well (or the trucks delivering it) but it will go sour very quickly.

  3. g10, I dont doubt you can whoop Rob but I hear he runs pretty fast thought – ie you cant whoop him if you cant catch him. was that DH / Kens saying it was CGar who could run very fast?

  4. I knew *rob* would be a fan of dirty lint traps!

Pete, pending my house or apartment purchase, I am back to using a communal laundry room. But for the aforementioned lint trap issues, it’s great actually — there are 6 each clean, new washers and dryers about 5 feet outside my downstairs door, which is closer for me to do laundry than it was to go down to the cellar in my house.

  5. because most of the people who drink organic milk have spaghetti arms and not capable of carrying an entire gallon!?

    *rob*

Um I drink organic milk and I can probably beat you up!!! hahahah JK

Seriously Why does organic milk expire so much later than “conventional” milk??

  6. quote:
And how come organic milk is sold only in half gallons?

because most of the people who drink organic milk have spaghetti arms and not capable of carrying an entire gallon!?

  7. “half of us are men and you should learn to deal with us too as part of the experience.”

Not nice, Denton. I’m guessing they’re having a hard enough time with English and trying to learn with some dude would likely only make the process more anxiety-ridden.
