  1. Denton, I really am going back to work (what a slacker I am today) but re Murakami, I read a book recently — Seven days in the Art World — kind of interesting book — but there was one chapter on how the writer made a trip to Murakami’s studio in Japan. He has a whole factory of workers making stuff, including a huge Buddha, coated in platinum for one of the Art Fairs.

(I like the old guy Marakami who was almost blind and did these fantastic prints with calligraphy and Buddhas)

  2. We buy organic milk and chicken because they are the worst offenders when it comes to putting bad stuff in your body. Other stuff not so much.

Example: If you buy organic maple syrup you’re a dumbass. Same thing as buying organic wood – like flooring – wihch also makes you a dumbass.

  3. Ultra-pasteurization is more expensive than regular pasteurization, which is undoubtedly why it’s not used universally — and it’s not necessary in most cases, since the milk is sold quickly enough that it’s not an issue.

  4. Re Lech 2:43, donatella shaking head, rolling eyes, laughing, puts head down on desk….

I have to get back to work.

Good luck with the deal Lech. You sound fortified and ready to go back to the tar pits….
