  1. Donatella, that organic market on Washington Ave and Park Ave is good alternative to fairway (of course assuming it carries the stuff you were planning to get from fairway) as it’s super close by. it’s much smaller but their stuff is fresh and decent price

  2. “BIF, are you on an exchange floor?”

No, the only thing people exchange here in abundance is profanity. It’s a lot for my innocent ears to bear.

I’m on a trading floor. I’ve gone from an office that’s cushy, to a desk the size of my tushy.

SDo any of you use mouthwash at your desk and spit it into the plastic liner of your trash bin????

Yeah, yeah, these are the boys that I know and love. Nail clipping. Shaving with electric razors.

  4. Park SLoper – thanks for that info however like Dibs I didn’t know that once opened, organic milk will spoil quicker. I found it lasted awhile

Dibs – I think Pathmark is too big for their britches in the city. maybe it works better out in the burbs but sometimes I fear larger supermarkets in cities don’t staff enough people to check inventory constantly to remove items that have gone bad!

As often as I shop at Fairway, I have found on MANY occasions(am talking 5 or more) where yogurts like Yoplait or La Yogurt or Activia have gone bad a few days past their dates.

BYE BYE exchange floors. And the ones that exist are like OTB Parlors. Lots of old guys standing around doing nothing. RIP to the end of a colorful era.
