LMFAO have i been attending the wrong meet ups this whole time!? jeez i really AM that bad with directions!
whoah – you’d do 2 girls 1 cup? That’s about the worst thing I can imagine.
What about getting tortured where pieces of your skin get slowly peeled off and then salt gets ground into the open wound and they just keep doing that until they have taken off just enough so you are writhing in pain and agony and will never ever be the same but you still have barely enough skin to continue to survive for a miserable and agonizing few years. Would you do that for a million dollars?
I love kombucha but it’s so expensive. Tried making it myself (they give lessons at Brooklyn Kitchen in W’burg) but w/o success.
Now I just use an alternate version: Bragg’s organic cider vinegar (a tablespoon or two), a dash of maple syrup, and seltzer. It’s a great pick-me-up at a fraction of the cost of kombucha.
You don’t have to use Bragg’s but it is important to use a raw vingear with the “mother” — that’s the yeasty bacteria that creates the vinegar through fermentation. It’s the same live ingredient found in kombucha.
I reiterate my belief in being the abslute whitest person on this blog.
Also, I heard on the news that $175,000 a year s the cutoff for when money buys happiness. Anything extra, no affect. Anything less, anxiety returns.
Are you challenging people to a “white off”? hahaha…
I read some little article the other day which said that if you are trying to cut down on spending, that you should concentrate on cutting down on clothes, stuff…..and spend your disposable income on activities with other people. That that makes you happier. Makes sense to me.
ET: I would PAY to not look at any PLUSAs naked. In fact, I would take out a LOAN if I didn’t have the money.
“Also, I heard on the news that $175,000 a year s the cutoff for when money buys happiness. Anything extra, no affect. Anything less, anxiety returns.”
I read that and thought it didn’t make a whole lot of sense. While they adjusted for geographical location, they said nothing about how many dependents you have.

i actually read that article a few times, it’s 75K, not 175K. but the article wasnt specific to nyc
jester, I read the Times article which said the cut-off is $75,000, not $175,000.
ET, yes, for $250k, particularly now that I’ve lost all the weight.
Kens, I knew that but didn’t want to give up your Eurotrashiness and lose the allure of your Mongolianhood at the same time.

“for 250K, would you show up to the next PLUSA gathering naked, and stay naked for at least two hours?”
Two hours naked, no problem, for me! Other people might not like it, though! (Shield your eyes!) LOL!
