says the blowhard who’s not won a Nobel yet. What a stupid statement. I can see disagreeing with GOre, and saying maybe he’s exaggerating, but to dismiss one of the most articulate, intelligent, thoughtful spokespersons for a sustainable lifestyle is mind-blowing.
And your twinkie defense is wrong, but I won’t bore all by showing how.
You know, the more you post (like the Prius crap) it’s obvious you don’t have to drive one to be a “smug, self-satisfied asshole”. I’ll add over-macho (why was I not surprised about the NRA family link yesterday?)
im most likely not going to drive it dumbass as i really dont want to get my license. but it would be nice to have so other people can drive me around in it. like the movie driving miss daisy!!

Rob, how are you going to get the car up here?
probably put up a craigslist ad in the south carolina section asking if someone can drive it up to brooklyn for me.
does anyone have a garage or spare parking spot tho? i wont be able to get this car insured since i dont have my driver’s license yet. how do you even go about getting your driver’s license anyway? i remember we had a program in high school for it, but i opted out at the time.
“And don’t even get me started on Pious…er, Prius, owners” — I know couple of people that have them. They have never made any claims about environment…only bragged on how little they spend on gasoline. Of course, they did that more when gas was higher priced.
I don’t get the beef with trying to be a bit more environmentally conscious. Do you eat all junk food just because everything you eat can’t be perfect nutritionally?
rob, having this car up here on the street is going to be a major headache for you…especially since you don’t even have a license.
You can’t afford a car up here. Sell it. Sell it down there.
“Rob with a car, there’s a scary thought.”
brooklyn blunt rides!!
lech>Anything Al Gore says, that guy’s a dumbass
