Slopey, no major difference between Uighur and Uzbeki. There are a couple of different names for dishes but pretty much same with exceptance of Uighur food having more noodle dishes while Uzbeki is meat and rice (pilaf) based primarily. In Brooklyn, you would usually see restaurants that caters to both as opposed to one or the other.
I’ll have to ask her for a good Uzbeki restuarant. Can’t think of one off the top of my head (I usually stick with Turkish or Arabic when I want good shish kebabs).

It’s a bit more fine dining as opposed to regular lunch place but service is excellent and they have a nice outdoor area.
