France is the largest agricultural producer in the EU and the second largest agricultural exporter in the world. US is the first. (We export approximately half of all the farm goods we produce.) Also, France has no crude oil production at all and relies on nuclear for power – 78% of electric production is nuclear.
Pete, they have more unions than us right? I’m starting to suspect along lines of Lech and DIBS – ie they fudge #s more than us
If it weren’t for France, our revolution would have been much harder to pull off. They really threw us some bones there.
