  1. biff,
I hear that on “socialized” airlines,
the in flight movie is a choice of two classics:

    “Disney’s Mickey Mao”
    or
“Laurel and Hardy meet Marx and Engels”

    kens,
yeah, the postal service has relaxed it’s
    regulations considerably.
the gray postal uniform is “suggested” but
    not enforced.

  2. quote:
Whole Foods is such a scam…I honestly can’t believe intelligent people fall for it and want to overpay for the exact same items sold at other stores.

totally. it’s the same with ice cream places and hot dog places too!

but the second a whole foods comes into the neighborhood all the yuppies think it’s the second coming of christ to save their neighborhood and make it safe. ridiculous.

OOOOOOH and screw my bodega they raised the prices of 40’s AGAIN! they just raised the prices a few months ago!

im so sick of food inflation. ugh maybe those dirty freegans have the right idea.

    *rob*

  3. Ok Guys I really should have worded my love for Whole Foods better
I LOVE LOVE Fairway for groceries

but I think I am in love with Whole Foods’ “Indian bar” and prepared foods which Fairway in Redhook can’t compare! – SORRY!

  4. “Maybe this is what it’s like living under socialism.” Oh please. If you were living under socialism, you’d have to take a turn pushing the cart down the aisle and serving drinks yourself. Would you rather he reached across your face with his armpit in your nose? What’s so horrible about passing a drink down the row?

  5. “Is it nasty to get east river water on you though?”

Jessi, of course it is, although I understand the East River is much cleaner than it used to be. But I don’t think getting splashed a little by it will result in any negative long term effects. However, I did make sure as soon as we got home that we put our clothes in the laundry and took showers.

You should definitely try it; it really was a fun experience.
