  1. And by terribly, I mean with no thought of spirit or individuality about it. Some guys look great (especially the gay guys) but mostly it’s all the same crap from Top Man that the mannequin was wearing.

  2. “I remember what I was wearing one of those days in Crown Heights and while no one blinked an eye when I wore it in Park Slope, a lot of of the guys in Crown Heights who were on the street immediately looked (and some commented).”

OK, enough already. WHAT were you wearing? Since I live in Crown Heights, I’d really like to know what about you set off the guys on the street. Because even though there are definitely some anti-gay-type tough guys hanging around certain blocks here, you are not the only probably-gay (according to your description) person walking around the area these days.

  3. Very Mad Men, etson. Suspenders, ties and bowties, tie-clips, pocket squares, pocket watches, boots, etc.

This day and age, if you’re a guy and you’re wearing anything but jeans and a t-shirt by night or a Brooks Brothers suit, it could be considered flamboyant. So many guys in this city dress terribly!
