Some guy ran into 4 cars on my block the other day. Including mine, he folded up the trunk. 5k damage to my car, another car totaled, probably 10k, plus two more damaged.
I have a 1k deductible, but normally, since not my fault, I would get it back from the other loser’s insurance, eventually.
However, this guy only has the min 10/20k liability, so there might not be enuf $ to go around.
In that case, could I sue him for 1k in small claims court? Insurance company not sure.

Judge Walker issued his decision on the stay request, turning down attempts to have the state hold on issuing new marriage licenses while the Prop. 8 trial advances to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Today’s decision puts Walker’s Prop. 8 ruling into full effect.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Attorney General Jerry Brown filed motions last week supporting marriages to begin in California rather than wait for the trial’s appeal.
Couples have been lined up since first thing this morning at San Francisco City Hall in anticipation of the stay being lifted, hoping to be the first get marriage licenses. The city of West Hollywood has already come out and said it will begin issuing licenses and performing civil ceremonies immediately.
