I actually wanted to do the railings so when he suggested it, I said ok — even though I could get someone to do that for less, but now it is all about the timing of getting it done before the brownstoning part of the job.
Millal is getting his money out of me (the porch guy). He wanted 1500 dollars for under the porch. I told him it was too much. Then when I asked him why it is important to do that now (not later by slathering cement on it) he said that he will be doing more pounding on the upper part (making the under stoop situation worse) and that banging on the stairs under the stoop in the future may damage the
new brownstoning. So ok we negotiated 1200 dollars. BUT he offered to do the railings for 500 and I said yes. THAT is too much. BUT I actually need to do that now because dollars for donuts, anybody I get later will spill black rustoleum all over the new brownstone steps. So he is getting his money. He was persistent in a nice way.
Flickering hourglass is driving me nuts. Had the occasional freeze up but it seems much worse today. Will check back in tomorrow & see if it’s better.
Just imagine how much slower the site would be if we had a DBNH here.

Delepp, did you ever talk to your Boston buddy with the place on Irving?
he’s right about doing the railings now instead of later when the brownstone is finished.

Charm helps in business.
DeLepp, Jerry brown, the acting DA for the state is all over this. It’s very high profile, obviously, and I suspect there’s going to be hell to pay.
I sure hope so.
I hope it opens the door to going after all this abuse, in every state.
DeLepp, got any house porn?
