  1. Dibs, I always ask her how the shop in Bed Sty is going. She says slowly but surely. She IS a wonderful person. She is truly an entrepreneur. She freely admits that she knew nothing about wine when she started, but she identified a need in Clinton Hill and went for it. Then the wine bar, which is very successful for her and then the place in Bed Sty.

  2. “And after that, PLUSA’s will have an open welcome to hang out in said garden, which will be liberally sprinkled with native plants and flowers brought to fruition by many discussions with Arkady and Cobble, fabulous gardeners both.”

Noki, You’re too kind! (Arkady is the better gardener!)

But you left off one thing!

    ….liberally sprinkled…with G*L*I*T*T*E*R!!! LOL!

  3. Coming through that cement with two feet is a challenge, Pete, nevermind a bike. The tenant sent a text to me thanking me for all the wonderful things I do and mentioning that she looks forward to our talk about what she should do with her bicycle which she is buying in Sept. I wonder what part of no she didn’t understand. Well I did say we could talk about it, but to discuss options in the neighborhood, not hanging on my stoop. Somebody told me that theives remove parts of railings to get bikes.

The workers will lay plywood after they finish for the day, allowing the tenants to walk on that.

  4. Ha! On my honor, I promise at this moment, on this OT, that when we do settle, wherever that may be, our backyard will be — at least once — turned into a fabulous, Christmas tree light strewn, ice skating rink upon which all PLUSA’s will dance and skate and drink mint juleps merrily until at least 2am. And after that, PLUSA’s will have an open welcome to hang out in said garden, which will be liberally sprinkled with native plants and flowers brought to fruition by many discussions with Arkady and Cobble, fabulous gardeners both.
