Hi Slopey, Thanks for the advice. This was some sort of accident with a tractor trailer and ambulance. We sat trying to get through for 30 minutes, then South Conduit was closed due to road work! So we made an ill-fated right turn (had to) and that was the beginning of our “adventure”. : (
Next time, there’s a secret passage (if it is still there)from JFK to Brooklyn by way of going past Long Term Parking. Puts you on Conduit way west of the Van Wyck snakepit and you skip all that traffic. No mistaking directions, just go under the highway when you get to it and turn left.
“musta been a lotta nagging going on in that car!”
I don’t “nag”, and we don’t bicker, denton. We were surprisingly good-humored about it, even when we were completely lost.

a real man doesn’t use a gps. Should have inherent sense of direction. Pretty sure Lechecal stated this.
“traffic tie-up leaving the airport on South Conduit, and go horrendously lost”
musta been a lotta nagging going on in that car!

Thanks for the helpful hints, M4L. : )
Yes, make sure there’s absolutely no sign of it in the car when you park or your windows will get smashed, except in my neighborhood.
