  1. there are lots of bars in williamsburg that cater to a mixed aged crowd. id imagine it just depends on the time and which night really. everytime ive been to barcade it felt like a good age mix during the week. on the weekend it seemed to mostly college aged tho but unlike some bars, i didnt get the feeling of anyone being like omg look at the old people type of thing. but i guess maybe since it’s full of 80s arcade games that people would expect some random old people to be in there. i think the only places anyone over 29 should have to worry about going to would be the bars in the NYU area and some of the bars in bushwick, but im not 100 percent sure about bushwick as im not sure if ive been to a bar there really.. but i could see it being age-ist.

it’s funny cuz i see more old people in williamsburg than i do park slope, or brooklyn heights for that matter!

  2. Cgar, I recommend Lee’s Auto Service at the corner of Smith and 3rd Sts. Lechacal recently used them for body work (nh) but they also do mechanical work and inspections. only open M-F 9-5, since they paid off the mortgage.
